Maui is the life of the party! People have described him as "having the personality of 5 dogs!" ... they aren't joking. This big boy is about 27" and 85 lbs and he has no idea. He thinks he's as sweet, and cuddly as a 10 lbs puppy. He is everyone's best friend, and he has yet to meet a stranger. While we continue to work on his manners, as he can't seem to figure out jumping isn't everyone's favorite thing, he continues to enjoy his best life! Maui rocked out his Championship with not one, but TWO 5 point majors, one being a very large specialty major at the Southland Weimaraner Club during the 2021 Futurity/Maturity Weekend in Moorpark, CA. That very same day he won BEST DOG IN WESTERN FUTURITY beautifully handled by Robert Scott! He went on to earn his Grand Championship with several Best Of Breed wins at large supported entry shows before the age of 2 years old. This boy also is enjoying bird work, he earned his Novice Shooting Dog and we are preparing for Junior Hunter tests. Maui loves toys, the squeakier the better and also torturing his sister, mother and grandma. Maui has the best sense of humor and lives life to the fullest, he's the happiest guy you'll ever meet!
